Job Description : What we’re looking forWe are looking for a skilled and passionate front-end engineer who can take the lead on various current and future projects aimed at creating a best in class app and service. As a key member of the team on our journey to success, you will be confident in the recommendations you make and you will be able to communicate technical requirements to non-technical team members.This is the perfect role for a front-end engineer with strong UI/UX designing skills who has work experience in a similar role and is looking to take the lead on Muse’s front-end systems. The ideal person for this role will be excited to take ownership of the esthetics of the application, want to make their mark on a high-growth startup, and take increasing responsibility within the company.How you’ll contribute: The main responsibilities for the role will include:Design, prototype and develop high quality UI and UX for muse projects.Development and implementation of highly responsive user interface components in React.Recommend and utilize the best technology in varying contexts.Monitoring and improving front-end performance.Implementing best practices and ensuring proper documentation.You should apply if you have:Experience with UI/UX, usability and product designDesign and prototyping experience in either Figma, Adobe XD or SketchProficiency in modern JavaScript, TypeScript and build systems.Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following libraries: React, Svelte or Vue.Knowledge of performance testing frameworks of frontend systems.Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing softwareExperience building modular components and libraries.Experience using Firebase and Google CloudExperience with SQL and NoSQL databasesCI/CD delivery and standard Github/Gitlab workflow experienceA BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science or similar experienceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to Friday
