Job Description : Group Financial AccountantMilton Keynes£50,000 – £55,000 OTERattrayParkin are partnering with a prestigious listed business in central Milton Keynes to recruit a Group Financial Accountant to join them in this exciting newly created role.The successful candidate will report into the Financial Controller responsible for a wide variety of financial reporting, financial analysis and financial compliance tasks which will help to ensure that the finance function of this Group is able to provide accurate and timely financial data.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who is seeking to progress their career in a fast-paced and commercial environment. They will be a dynamic, confident and proactive individual who can demonstrate a ‘self-starter’ attitude and an ability to complete tasks efficiently using their own initiative, embracing this unique opportunity to widen their experience and learn quickly within the core of the Group’s finance department while having regular contact with the Group Finance Director.This role would suit an agile and motivated individual with ambitions of progressing into an Financial Controller position in the near future.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of Group consolidated management accounts consolidations, including flash, forecast and month endDelivery of the consolidated budgets & forecastsManage the Group tax matters in conjunction with our professional advisors including audit and submission of tax computationsPreparation of consolidated VAT returnsOversee the Group treasury processResponsible for preparation of draft full year & interim consolidated statutory accountsProvide support to external auditors at half year and year end, including delivery of audit workingsPreparation of Group Board deliverables including board powerpoint presentationsReview and make proposals to improve the control environment within the UK and the wider GroupAd – hoc tasks as required by Group Finance Director & Group Financial ControllerAbout you:Qualified accountant ACA/ACCAExcellent IT skills with advanced Excel skillsStrong knowledge of PowerPointExcellent communication skillsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionWork from homeSchedule:Monday to Friday
