We are looking to recruit dedicated and reliable people who will buy into Metro’s culture of hard work and responsibility.HGV Drainage Engineer Role OverviewWe are looking to expand our team by a hiring a HGV Drainage operator to carry out reactive and maintenance works in the Greater London and Southeast area.Our remedial team would like to hire an experienced drainage operative to provide blockages clearances, sludge gulping, root cutting plus all aspects of drainage throughout the Southern UK. Candidates must have a Class 2 HGV Licence, and we prefer applicants to have at least 2 years’ experience in the drainage sector,This is a job for resourceful and hardworking people who will get great rewards for great work. You will need a can-do attitude to solve problems on site, as well as excellent communication skills to coordinate with our head office and organise your schedule.No two shifts will be the same: you will have to respond to changing events and solve problems in real time. You will be carrying out essential repairs, keeping in touch with our 24-hour helpdesk team, and making recommendations for further works where necessary. The role will offer meaningful opportunities for learning and career progression.
