We are one of the largest wine producers in the world – we’ve been around since 1836, and our portfolio has won a total of 8,846 international wine show awards in the last decade.About the roleThe driving force behind our business is our people – we have over 1,500 staff across Australia, the UK, Europe, Asia, South Africa, New Zealand and the Americas, and every one of us is passionate about making the ordinary extraordinary through our amazing wines.We are now recruiting an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our global Information Technology team.You can be based in either our* Adelaide, Melbourne* or Sydney offices, with options for flexible working arrangements.This role is* full-time and permanent.*Your Key responsibilities include: Identify, analyse, and translate business processes, technical functions and a broad range of data from disparate datasets into meaningful insights to identity valuable opportunities to enhance business performance to support decision making.Liaise with IT Business Partners and other leaders to define requirements, test cases, acceptance criteria, prioritise product backlog, reduce work-in-progress to deliver faster business value.Emphasise collaboration, fit-for-purpose delivery, reflection, improvements and deliver internal training on new features/solutions to end users.Manage small IT initiatives/projects that deliver improvements for our Business Units – particularly ‘micro-apps’ and workflow solutions built in Sharepoint – taking them through from definition to hand over to BAUOversee technical delivery partners supporting our Sharepoint projects, including assigning & tracking tasks and providing QA on designs and delivered solutions.Responsible for providing systems and process analysis for new business initiatives including feasibility activities, solution design activities, requirements gathering and analysis and process improvement/design activities.Develop required documentation inclusive of workshop agendas, presentations, gap analysis reports, process flow diagrams, roles/responsivities, functional specifications, and maintaining IT’s documentation repository by updating/creating relevant documentation as required and conducting regular reviews to ensure its fit-for-purpose.What you’ll bring: 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst with strong ability to decipher and conduct data analysisProven experience with app development utilising SharePoint and Power AppsDocumenting Standard Operating ProceduresExperience mapping processes and workflow to business application functionalityStrong experience in Microsoft Office suits (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Solid verbal and written communication skills, with ability to facilitate presentations and training sessions and working with an offshore support teamBachelor’s degree in information technology, business or similar is highly desirableExperience in the Wine Industry or mid-tier FMCG is highly desirableWhat you can expect: An annual wine allowance, on top of your salary!You heard right – you’ll get money to spend on our amazing wines, as well as a fantastic range of benefits including a gym subsidy and employee assistance program.
