Summary :
SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud Delivery is the operations organization of the SAP HANA Enterprise cloud. The team HEC Delivery Service Engineering acts as the interface between HEC Delivery Operations and SAP field organization. We support Go-To-Market (GTM) teams with operational expertise and conceptual work globally. We pick up service requirements arising from customer engagements and drive Business Development and Portfolio Management to strengthen SAP’s service offering in the managed cloud. We also perform architecture engineering projects and technology innovation pilots to support selected customer projects as well as HEC’s overall portfolio development
The Role:
As an “IT Technology Senior Consultant – DBA (HANA & ASE)” in ECS Delivery Technical operation team
You will deliver technical expertise and support for complex SAP Landscapes
Standardizing the complex activities and convert into standard
Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies achieving ambitious SLA requirements
Proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and roll out of this information/knowledge to the rest of the team
Coordination of international teams in global projects and with partners
Monitoring day-to-day business operations
Working towards defined KPIs and service improvement
Role Requirements:
10+ years of database support experience in SAP and Linux/UNIX production environment
Weightage for resources from SAP HANA and/or SAP ASE background
Strong Knowledge of RDBMS architecture/concepts
Experience in a mission critical, multi database environment with large number of database systems
Experience in planning & executing production database changes (installations, upgrades, H/W migration, critical restores, DB admin tasks etc.)
Knowledge in ITIL Methodology and IT operations
Preferred Knowledge on Hyperscalers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Project member experience in an international environment and ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
Strong capabilities in the area of technical documentation
Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way
Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
