Your Role and Responsibilities
Expertise in installation, configuration, and administration of Kafka components (Broker,
zookeeper, connector server, control centre & KSQL) in fault-tolerant, highly available & scalable environments.
Good knowledge in different types of connector configurations, worker node creation, plugin configuration.
Responsible for the day to day monitoring and troubleshooting of application-related issues and networking teams, debugging, troubleshooting and fixing the problems, escalating the vendor support team for fixing the problems.
Having experience in upgradations packs and DR Activities. Disaster recovery planning and documentation.
Ability to understand analyze and apply corporate policy/guidelines and business specific policies
Standing up and administering on premise Kafka platform.
Provide expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, KSQL, Rest proxy and Kafka Control center.

Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions
Create topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and has good knowledge of best practices.
Provide administration and operations of the Kafka platform like provisioning, access lists Kerberos and SSL configurations.
Use automation tools like provisioning using open shift, Docker, Chef, Jenkins, BB and RLM.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Provide expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, KSQL, Rest proxy and Kafka Control center.

We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in a Kafka administration.
Should also have experience using the following software/tools:
Must have skills with big data Kafka ,3 years of professional experience in Kafka Admin. Experience and knowledge of common issues associated with RHEL Servers and strong verbal and written communication skill
