Job Description : Introduction
As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Work with Best in Class open source and visual tools, along with the most flexible and scalable deployment options. Whether it’s investigating patient trends or weather patterns, you will work to solve real world problems for the industries transforming how we live.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:
Candidate would be responsible for creating, and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models defining information requirements for data management and business intelligence purposes.
Help Data preparation and migration
Should be able to generate DDLs, DMLs used to create the database schema
What you’ll do:
Will be responsible for complete logical Data warehouse design with Data modeling and metadata design
Will be responsible for ensuring that the Data Model is up to date at all times reflecting the changes which have been made into the source systems and would be required to synchronize models to ensure that database structures match models
Design for Integration with Hadoop and other source system

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Candidate should be full time MCA/M. Tech/B. Tech/B.E. and should preferably have relevant certifications.
Candidate should have a minimum of 8 years’ of database/ data warehouse experience with at least 4 years on the Data Modelling aspects of large DWs.
Should have experience of Data Modeling for a Data warehouse for at least 3 projects and should have at least one project experience of Data Modeling and performance tuning for a Data Warehouse with more than 2 TB of data
Will be required to work out office

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Should be well conversant in English and should have excellent writing, MIS, communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
