Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM SCBN SAAS Essentials unit is looking for positive and collaborative lead software developer to join the IBM SCBN Commerce: Centre product team. In this role, you will learn, develop, and support the product, eventually once trained you will lead the onsite team and coordinating their workload. SCBN Commerce: Centre provides multiple connectivity paths to trade EDI and non-EDI documents with the Client’s trading community. This is an exciting opportunity to learn at a low level how the industry leading Supply Chain products works and to learn from a team of very talented engineers.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
Take leadership of assigned projects and coordinate completion with the onsite team
Development based on agile methodologies
Participate in requirements/user story identification and analysis
Learn critical Supply Chain practices and understand SAAS multi-tenant platforms
Collaborate effectively with other team members, partners and other support functions when required
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proven history of experience in developing and debugging Window based C++ programs.
At least 5 years of relevant Industry Experience
Familiarity with backend programming: Multi-threading, Creating Services, COM/DCOM understanding
Proficient with source control management tools (GitHub, Jenkins) and with Agile Life Cycle Management tools (Jira, Zenhub)
Self-motivated towards meeting agreed goals
Cross Time Zone Collaboration
Expertise in C++ programming language
Exposure to MS SQL database technologies helpful
Strong Communication, both Oral and Written are important
Minimum Qualifications:
Three to Five years of Windows development
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Having knowledge with EDI software infrastructures
MSMQ Knowledge helpful
MS SQL Knowledge helpful
ASP.NET Knowledge helpful
Familiarity with various Internet Protocols (FTP/HTTP/MINE) would be helpful
