What You Will Do:-
The Eagle Investment Systems is an accounting engine and data warehouse, and is the book of record for Northern Trust Asset Management. Eagle is a web based front-end, running on both windows and UNIX environments at Northern Trust, and has an Oracle based database.
The system supports the setup and maintenance of reference data, the posting of transactions, and various methods to report on the data. NTAM uses SimCorp CORIC as its client and fund factsheet report generation application. CORIC is comprised of five components that work in combination to automate the entire end-to-end report generation process. Data is sourced from Eagle and other internal applications into CORIC for consolidated reporting. NTAM technology also creates and uses micro services to retrieve data from Eagle for consumption by CORIC and other applications within Northern Trust.
The Eagle and SimCorp CORIC applications are critical to Northern Trust Asset Management as they are at the core of the business. Eagle is accessed by micro services to source data downstream to many applications, including those that handle compliance monitoring, reconciliation, portfolio analysis, client reporting, and performance calculations.
Some of the technologies used on the Asset Management Technology team include Java 8, micro services, rest API, Azure,Snowflake, rapid MQ, ETL, Control M (job scheduling), python, SQL, XML Messaging, Oracle, FTP, Perl, Unix and Unix scripting.
Responsibilities/Skills required:-
Must have experience in Eagle
Experience on testing Eagle Accounting/Reporting applications
Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Detail oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter, working effectively with a minimal direction.
Ability to work in team atmosphere.
Design, development, execution and installation of test automation scripts within the test automation framework.
The resource will participate in the definition, construction and rollout of the automation framework and assist in the definition and validation of test strategies.
Experience in Selenium, QTP, UFT, JIRA, Zephyr.
Working within agile development team with BDD approach and supporting the developer to quality assure development early.
Setting Up framework and standards, manage all the automation setup activities.
Scripting Skills to engineer technical, Repeatable tests
Undertaking all form of functional and non-functional testing
Reporting on testing progress and strategy and provide interpretation and insight on progress to inform management to take decisions
Experience in establishing enterprise level strategy and
Expertise in Coding, UFT, Selenium, Java and Macro VBA, Data stage ETL and JAVA, Micro services
Test Automation using Cucumber test automation tool and Gerkin scripting Language
Must have – Java, Selenium BDD, Cucumber, Gerkin, Web Services-REST, Web Services-SOAP, Micros services
Familiarity with development build and deployment environment – Maven, Github, Jenkins
Exposure to micro services and cloud technologies
Have experience in building and deploying as containers on a cloud platform using an automated CI / CD pipeline.
