As Management Accountant you will enter as a senior member of the team, contributing to the professional development of junior staff and acting as a reviewer of the team’s output prior to delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Management Accountant – Renewable Energy Investments

An entrepreneurial Renewable Energy Investments Group is hiring a Management Accountant to join a vibrant and rapidly growing team/business who pride themselves on internal mobility/progression.

As Management Accountant you will enter as a senior member of the team, contributing to the professional development of junior staff and acting as a reviewer of the team’s output prior to delivery to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

Management reporting across a portfolio of special purpose vehicles to support the asset management team and the execution team as necessary.
Acting as quality control for management accounts and management information supplied to internal and external stakeholders.
Producing management and statutory accounts for a number of SPVs that own renewable energy projects at various stages of the lifecycle.
Liaising with auditors and tax advisers in relation to SPVs financial statements.
Managing treasury operations for SPVs
Overseeing statutory filings across the SPVs such as VAT returns and corporation tax computations

As Management Accountant you will have a broad remit working within a business where everyone is passionate about the business and collaborative in working smart to continue scaling up.

To succeed as Management Accountant you will have:

Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or similar)
Advance excel skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a small team and lead by example
Self-starter interested in process improvement
Working knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign strongly preferred
Renewable energy industry experience strongly preferred
