DHL Express Global Head Office has an opening for a Manager, DHL Express Mobile in the Ecommerce Business Technology (EBT) domain. The Manager, DHL Express Mobile is responsible for ensuring solutions are delivered and implemented to agreed scope and quality – within the fast-paced and rapidly evolving ecommerce domain. The role purpose is to:
Manage, support and drive programs and projects in the Mobile and Consumer Technology Solutions sub-domain, such as DHL Express Mobile and On Demand Delivery.
Work across the regions and countries to ensure that programs succeed in optimizing the consumer’s first and last mile experience. Drive the definition, development and deployment of fit-for-purpose mobile/consumer business technology solutions.
Responsible for collecting new business requirements and delivering new capabilities that enhance our mobile and consumer products and services, while at the same time driving optimization of existing functionality and processes.
Clear, effective and regular communication with key stakeholders, senior management, business units, technical teams and customers regarding solutions status, reference material, app store ratings and roadmap planning.

YOUR TASKS
Drive the alignment across business domains for new, enhanced and optimized solution capability, features and processes in mobile solutions, particularly those in first and last mile.
Seek and identify areas of opportunity to improve the customer experience: monitor and manage app store ratings and reviews to acquire insight into users’ experience; review app labels to improve clarity and ease-of-use.
Ensure that agreed change requests, enhancements, content and other relevant deliverables are completed on time, with quality and appropriate governance to enhance the final mile experience, both internally and externally.
Ensure that our mobile/consumer solutions are optimized to deliver operational efficiency and to maximize customer engagement, utilization and experience.
Liaise with the global and regional functions to ensure that our consumer/mobile products and services are cross-functionally aligned.
Work with DHL Express customers, suppliers, the Express functions and other DPDHL business units as directed to establish objectives and ensure that programs and strategy are delivered to agreed time and quality.
Regular communication with key stakeholders, business units, and leadership regarding solution capabilities, status, reference material and roadmap planning to ensure awareness of all activities pertaining to mobile-focused consumer solutions.
Training and solution overviews developed and conducted as needed.
Assess the impacts (process, organization, system, dependency, priority) associated with technology and process changes; in light of that analysis, ensure seamless implementation of technology change.
Drive alignment of business process, standards, and mobile/consumer EGAP solutions across the functions, regions and countries.
Operate with autonomy within the confines of the overall program strategy to drive effective change, utilization and optimization of solutions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Minimum of 8 years of experience in related field; or a university degree or equivalent and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
Proven knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
Established background in business and business process analysis with emphasis on the first and final mile delivery experience.
Experience in mobile app/web development life cycle.
Strong cross-domain/cross-functional understanding, including but not limited to Operations, Customer Service and Commercial; good understanding of how the first and last mile ecommerce buyer/receiver experience impacts or is impacted by these domains.
Ability to work positively with the cross-cultural, global range of individuals involved in program management; ability to work independently without direct oversight, while ensuring alignment with overall goals and strategies of the EBT domain.
Strong leadership, organization and management skills.
Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage difficult and strenuous scenarios including the potential rejection or deferment of request from stakeholders, regions/countries and other domains; ability to manage change in a high pressure environment.
Very strong analytical thinking, systems thinking and problem solving skills with a proven ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
Energetic, enthusiastic, results-oriented; capable of adding significant value to the existing management team and successfully implementing their ideas/concepts.
Proficient in compiling and analyzing data to determine and support decisions and strategies.
Professional qualification/certification in program or project management.
