The IT Development Specialist focuses upon the development of applications / products in line with the technology roadmap and standards. The IT Development Specialist delivers development of programme logic for new applications / products or analysis and modification of logic in existing applications (activities may also include elements of technical testing). Typically reports to the Senior IT Development Manager of the Head of Technology.#_VOIS
Job Responsibility
Extensive hands on experience in Java development (Java 8) and good knowledge of Java design patterns
Proven Hands on experience developing software solutions using
State of the art Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, MicroServices
Relational Databases like Oracle/Postgres/ MySQL and/or NoSQL Databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase
Messaging systems like JMS, rabbitMQ and caching frameworks like Redis, MemCached, EHCache
Automated test frameworks like jUnit, mockito
Experience and Knowledge of Testing – Manual and Automation frameworks (REST-assured, TestNG, Jmeter, Cucumber,)
Strong exposure in Rest WS And / OR SOAP WS (WSDL, XSD), AJAX, JSON, SSO/HTTPS
Excellent Expertise in standard development toolset and frameworks like GIT, SVN, Jenkins, Maven / Ant
Experienced to work in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) software development environments
Exposure to container technologies like Docker.
Demonstrable experience in commercial product development
