The objective of GSC CoE, Pune is to be a strategic partner to Eaton Supply Chain enabling process excellence and resource optimization. GSC CoE is an Initiative that provides functional and value-added support across each vertical of the Supply Chain Functions for the Eaton sites across the globe with key areas of focus on standardization, consolidation, automation support and leveraging best in class available tools / techniques / processes.

Role Responsibility:
Demonstrate near-expert level competence in understanding the full end-to-end aspects of SCM Procurement operations.Act as a lean champion and innovative thought leader, focussing on driving standardisation, simplification and digitalisation for & across SCM ProcurementUsing Lean principles to ensure continuous improvement, deployment and execution of the Eaton Business System Procurement processes across Eaton worldwide, with a specific focus on category strategy, sourcing process, contracting and others.Partnering with the SCM Digital team lead the identification, implementation and sustainment of Eaton’s leading edge supply chain procurement tools set comprising of applications, tools and key work processes. Benchmarking and developing a strategy to ensure Eaton leads in the development of digital procurement solutions.Ensure a customer first mindset is embedded across our processes, systems and tools, making work easier and creating capacity for our SCM Procurement teams across all aspects of the product development lifecycle. Leading change management through the implementation & deployment of leading edge procurement tools & processes consistently across the enterprise globally.Provide valuable insights and direction on opportunities for investments, synergies and enhancements across the SCM Procurement operations, to contribute to the development of the annual profit plan budget.Educate and direct the education of cross-functional teams that play a role in the product development lifecycle, on appropriate processes, systems and tools and drive a culture of continuous improvement and lean methodologiesEducate and direct the education of SCM Procurement teams to upskill and reskill across critical skills to support business growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required, in supply chain management”
Ten (10) years’ experience in Supply chain and procurement, both at the tactical execution (buying) and strategic (category management) level.
Proven trackrecord in driving enterprise wide change initiatives (standardising processes, systems and tools) across the Procurement function”
Replenishment process (mrp), tactical buying, procurement process, negotiation, contracting, strategic sourcing, category strategy, project management, continuous improvement
