Nutanix Flow is a Software Defined Network Security (micro-segmentation &
security operations) product that provides a simplified way to create and manage application centric policies.
Flow enables security administrators to govern their applications and
environments independent of the physical infrastructure. Flow delivers advanced networking, security services and compliance insights that allow enterprises to gain visibility and granular control of their enterprise applications.
Description
Responsibilities
Design and develop web scale enterprise applications.
Work closely with junior/senior engineers on design and implementation
Required to implement protocol clients/servers, work with message queues, code massively parallel systems, worry about database performance and tackle cloud-scale problems
Develop microservices with distributed design principles in a scalable multi-
threaded, multi-tenant environment
Can-do attitude while solving difficult problems spanning across multiple teams
Comfortable working in a fast-moving agile environment
Requirements :
Familiarity with OS internals, concepts of distributed data management, and
design/ implementation trade-offs in building clustered, high- performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems software is a must have
Good understanding/working knowledge of any one coding language
Ability to do LLD and HLD for a feature is a must have
Ability to write clean, well structured, modular and testable code
Good understanding of DS and Algo.
Exposure to Networking is an added advantage
Familiarity with containers and microservices is an added advantage
Preferred Languages:
Golang,Java
Nice to Have:
Python
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in computer science or related field required.
4+ years of experience designing and developing web scale enterprise
applications
