Your Role and Responsibilities
Application Developer, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized mobile solutions using your knowledge of Kyndryl platforms. The role of the Application Developer involves working on initiatives for the Mobile@Kyndryl squad, ensuring timely delivery of mobile applications with a main goal of ensuring user satisfaction and continuous improvement and simplification of the mobile user experience. This role also works with various Kyndryl teams to understand requirement, set up, test and deploy mobile solutions in line with Kyndryl’s deployment guidelines. Central to the role is working in Proof-of-Concept initiatives and user pilots, developing mobile applications, able to code and update existing applications as required, creating user documentation, responding to user queries/problems, and ensuring that all significant issues are resolved prior to deployment.

This role also includes managing the Human Resources application that feeds employee data daily from the Kyndryl enterprise employee directory into the corporate mobile service plan (CMSP) dashboard that is provided by a third-party SaaS vendor.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 5 years experience in: App design
Software design
Coding
Native app writing ability
Backend web services knowledge
Knowledge of UX and UI (Mobile)
Familiarity with mobile platform APIs – iOS and Android
Cross-platform application development- iOS and Android
Unit tests, automation, and code reviews
Creativity and brainstorming
Organization and ability to multi-task
Willingness to learn new technology
Complex problem solving

Preferred knowledge in: LAMP Stack
