Job Description : Position Summary
As a Motion Graphics Designer at Cognizant, you do more than bring graphics to life. You use your strong creative background to create powerful stories that capture an audience and leave them wanting more.
You will be tasked with developing and orchestrating complex digital video and animated projects in a dynamic, fast-moving environment to deliver creativity that meets the brief and is on brand and on time. An expert with hands-on experience in visual design and web video development tuned toward B2B: building the Cognizant brand and supported media.
You can channel innovation into every aspect of the creative studio in process, products, and services. You should be adept at juggling multiple projects while acting as the leading light for creative excellence, playing the role of a mentor for the creative team.

Roles & Responsibilities :
10+ years of motion graphic development experience; designing and creating enticing motion graphics for video deliverables—corporate videos, websites, Social videos, marketing demos, etc.
Strong technical skills and proven ability to use various software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, 2D/3D animation, After Effects, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud) while understanding both web and mobile platforms various media.
An expert at telling a story through visual design, editing raw video footage, and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics. Excellent at selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc., for graphic design.
Having the ability to partner with other creative team members and participate in brainstorming sessions to understand project scope and objectives.
Share new design perspectives and ideas. Assist in designing and creating storyboards. Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project.
Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines. Respond to user feedback, data/analytics, and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest graphic design techniques. Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention, and organization of graphic files. Work with editors, producers, and other designers to resolve technical and design issues.

Design Tools:
Knowledge of Video development using Premier, After Effects, Sketching/Illustrations & using both Macintosh and Windows platforms
Working knowledge of Actionscript, AR/VR, UX, Video development using Premier, After Effects & or sketching/Illustrations
Ability to work in 3D Max, Maya, Unity3D, Cinema 4D would be an added advantage.
Design tools & proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Education:
Degree is a must!
Having a Design Degree is great
Coming from a good Design school is an added advantage
