Job Description : We are looking for a Team Manager to lead the Online Team, manage and oversee the overall output across all areas of our digitally owned properties (including the website, app, newsletter and weekly promotional social media content. The Online Team manager aims to ensure delivery of all briefed content. Together with the agencies develop strategies to optimise content in a given space, always ensuring compliance around data capture and retention. Attention to detail and a good technical understanding are key to this role.
This role is a 12 month Maternity Cover

What you’ll do
Creating and managing briefs for the Online Team, working with the Assistant Team Manager to assign tasks and manage the feedback process between stakeholders, to ensure that multiple projects are on track
Leading on the strategy and reporting of all newsletters for Lidl GB
Working with the lead Creative, Social and Media agencies to ensure that information conveyed online is consistent/complimentary with messaging presented across all owned and earned media channels.
Define the role of each channel within our owned digital properties and oversee the implementation of set principles, continuously optimizing content based on performance measures and learning·
Sharing regular reporting on digital property performance to the team and wider business. Working closely with Lidl International and our agency partners to standardise these figures across the business.
Feeding into media and campaigns planning to optimize, deliver and amplify BAU and ATL campaigns in owned digital channels and integrate into the wider advertising plan.
Closely collaborating with the Lidl Social team whilst overseeing the creation of in-house social media content and encouraging smooth customer journeys from external to internal properties.
Support the launch and maintenance of new digital initiatives for the business
Line Managing the Assistant Team Manager and Social Media Production Administrator and overseeing the management of the online team, encouraging the professional and personal development of the direct and indirect team.
Developing an efficient and functioning team, ensuring they have the skills, manpower and infrastructure to perform their tasks·
Building good relationships with technical partners in international IT and GB IT to drive innovation and be at the forefront of rollouts / upgrades etc, helping to close the gap to high customer expectations in GB.
Be the go to person within the Marketing department for all GDPR governance, building relationships with INT and legal to be up to date and compliant with regulations.
Conduit between legal, data protection and business compliance with the aim to agree, capture and display correct data processes
What you’ll need
A good technical understanding and previous experience of working with one or several content management systems
Experience working with Photoshop and InDesign
Comfortable with analysing performance reports and drawing conclusion from it
Good communication skills – translating complex technical or legal requirements into easy language
Well-organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Previous line management experience is essential
Pro-active, approaching problems logically and calmly
Highly computer literate
Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn
