Your Role and Responsibilities
Role Description:
The RedHat OpenShift Platform Administrator would need to have at least 3-5 years of experience. In this role, you will primarily focus on administering and supporting on-premises OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem – Dev and Prod clusters.
Expertise in OpenShift Administration – installing and configuring an OpenShift cluster and having a strong background in Linux administration, virtualization, networking, and security will be required in successfully fulfilling this role; and in providing level 3 support.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
Assist in change management of container platform for new versions of OpenShift, Hotfixes, SysAdmin tasks, etc.
Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts
Provides L3 engineering support
Works with team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
Authors/edits system documentation/playbooks.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
Expertise with Kubernetes and Docker
Expertise in RedHat Linux administration.
Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops
