Job Responsibilities
Develop full-stack web applications using PHP and other relevant web development technologies
Produce high-quality code and work remotely with international clients
Liaise with other team members, supervisors and clients as needed
Adapt to changes in relevant technologies, coding standards and so on to continue to provide up-to-the-minute coding solutions to clients.
Candidate Profile
At least one years (2+ years preferred) of work experience as a web developer or software engineer
Tertiary qualifications in computer science or information technology (or strongly related discipline)
Strong PHP coding skills with relevant hands-on experience
Exposure to any MVC architecture an advantage (Codeigniter, CakePHP, Laravel, Zend etc.)
Substantial WordPress skills are an advantage
Sound Javascript skills
Database expertise including both SQL and No SQL solutions
Unit testing experience
Sound knowledge of git
Clear and effective written English
Willingness to learn other programming technologies such as Node.js, Express, Next.js, MongoDB.
