Job Description : The Connected Secure Systems (CSS) segment offers comprehensive systems for a secure, networked world with a portfolio built around reliable, trendsetting microcontrollers as well as wireless connectivity and security solutions. Infineon IMS (Industrial Microcontroller Solutions) Business Line is looking for senior member for the applications team.
The main tasks of this role would be:
Provide Design proposals and technical definition for Firmware, Middleware, and Hardware blocks
Own the datasheet, Application notes and reference design for product lines
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customers, and Design teams to create suitable product solutions
Create technical articles, Application notes and represent trade shows and external forums
Enable Design-win projects using Infineon’s IMS microcontroller portfolio involving factory & building automation, power supplies, LEV (Light Electric Vehicles), and home appliances & tools.
Plan and execute projects along with other team members.
Initiate and drive creative end solutions using product’s capabilities and feature set
Mentor junior members and drive the team in the capacity of an architect in the group.
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
Work experience of 13-16 years in embedded system development in which a work experience of 5+ years in industrial domain such as factory & building automation, motor control/motor drives, power supplies is ideal
Strong knowledge of system-level design and architecture in the embedded domain
Prior work experience on ARM Cortex M series 32 bit microcontrollers development in a semiconductor company is added advantage
Ability to debug and solve complex issues with hardware and firmware integration
Attention to detail, Proactive problem solving and self-driven
Mentor and guide junior team members
In India a team of 200 people works on hardware and software development for automotive and chip card & security solutions.
