Job Description
Role & Responsibilities :
Deep understanding of Database architecture & schema design, help developers to optimize queries.
Manage optimal database configuration, parameters management & optimizations
Query planning & optimization
Ensure data integrity, auditing & consistency checks Ensure implementing Database security Work on Perf optimizations, live migrations and upgrades.
Implement Cost Optimizations. Ensure Availability of databases. Work independently with various stakeholders.
Key Skills
Hands on experience in managing and administering large fleet of databases from few GBs to TBs in size.
5-8 Years experience in any 2 of the RDBMS- Postgres, Mysql, MSSQL
2-3 Years experience in any of the NoSQL Databases- MongoDB, Cassandra
2-5 years experience in working in Cloud environment- preferably AWS.
Ability to ensure High Availability, Scalability and Security of databases in Cloud
Experience in Monitoring Tools like Zabbix, NewRelic.
Experience in Database related Monitoring tool like Percona PMM , any other tool preferred
Some exposure in MySQL Workbench, PGAdmin, MS SQL Server Management Studio, Compass preferred • Scripting knowledge using Perl, Python, scripting tools desirable.
Exposure to diversity (SQL, NoSQL, Graph D
