ROLE OVERVIEW:

This position is charged with the thoughtful promotion of GrainPro’s brand in India, South Asia, and the Middle East markets. This role works closely with the Country Manager & Indian team as well with the global marketing team to generate local content, ensure communication in local language(s), and serve as a liaison with regional distributors, content developers, and translators of corporate materials.

The position reports directly to the Country Manager and dotted line to the APAC marketing team out of the Philippines. The role is based in INDIA, Delhi NCR / Mumbai.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and update marketing and training material, conduct product training for the sales team.
Ensure that the sales team is updated with product changes and new product developments.
Plan & participate in industry-specific trade shows, exhibitions, webinars and other promotional events and conferences.
Responsible for reviewing product performance and suggest requiring changes.
Conducting workshops, regular training programs for the existing users and sales team.
New Product launch and ensuring effective placement of products in the respective market.
Pre- and post-sales demonstration, attending technical compliance meetings.
Exploring & developing new markets for promoting the products; conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & competitor activity to achieve market share metrics.
Conceptualizing and implementing sales promotional activities as a part of brand building & market development effort.
Track and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns, manage the marketing budget and ensure that all marketing material is in line with the organization’s philosophy.
Develop strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified sales traffic (digital & traditional channels)
Oversee and approve all marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures.
To have a clear understanding of the company’s Customer base – the ideal customer, potential customers and ensure that the team members are also clear on the same.
To submit all reports as per norms of the company and Implement the Company Strategy as communicated by Reporting Manager.
Identify and develop relevant local content relating to local themes, holidays, commodities, etc.
Proactive communication and marketing support with distributors.
Website, blog articles, social media posts, instructional manuals in Hindi or other regional languages as needed by the sales team.

Coordinate event preparation with Events specialists and local regional managers and distributors.
Identify relevant media sources and publications for marketing collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS:

A skilled marketing professional with about 5 years of experience including Product Marketing, Online and digital marketing. S/he will have experience promoting brands within a diverse and dynamic environment. She/ he must be energized by growth and show a willingness to try creative approaches to solve problems.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/communications/ Design / Creative Multimedia or a related field.
Required fluency in English, Hindi and one of the South Indian languages.
Expertise in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Video Editing, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite, and particularly agile in Excel.
Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills and a willingness to share information.
Strong planning and organizational skills: planning ahead, meeting deadlines, and multi-tasking.Able to juggle multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
A collaborative and flexible style with a strong service mentality.
Willingness to do whatever it takes and belief that no job is too big or too small.
Able to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed to support international time zone collaboration.
