Job Description : Infrastructure Services Operational Support (ISOS) is a team of technical program managers focused on the data center and remote infrastructure space who collaborate with Facebook teams to operationalize processes, innovate, and automate work through tooling. We enable others to have impact by solving problems associated with scaling the infrastructure that supports all Facebook services.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting critical innovation initiatives and developing/driving engineering roadmaps to scale the capacity of Network Infrastructure Services, providing thought leadership and strategic perspective to engineering teams spanning the design, build and operate phases of the network infrastructure lifecycle. You will deliver mission-enabling support to various enterprise infrastructure teams, partnering to plan and execute on-time delivery of lab network environments in support of Meta priorities. You will oversee a large portfolio of projects, utilizing your experience and expertise to implement, improve, and automate processes in support of efficient and reliable network delivery and operation at scale.
Program Manager, Lab Network Delivery Responsibilities:
Demonstrate strong understanding of the supported domain and conduct deep analysis of the problem space. Define process end-to-end and drive improvements for maximum impact.
Lead process engineering and/or automation efforts to support cross-functional partners in operationalizing and scaling efforts.
Quantify operational issues, measure impact, prioritize development resources in areas that will deliver the greatest impact.
Champion and provide oversight for initiatives during the technical delivery process and provide direct project management activities.
Review operational challenges and help determine process efficiencies.
Lead/support all business readiness activities, which may range from technical end user training or product testing, to business impact measurement, internal or technical communications.
Elicit detailed business requirements by engaging the business to capture clear functional design artifacts using techniques like use cases, systems and data diagrams and process flow diagrams.
Foster a culture of data driven decision making.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
5+ years of experience with program management or technical program management.
Experience communicating technical programs across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in high-tech operations space.
Experience influencing stakeholders to align on solutions and outcomes.
Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational experience.
Experience evaluating, defining and improving end-to-end processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in independently learning and adapting quickly to changing requirements, bringing definition to ambiguous project spaces.
Experience collaborating with both internal and external partners to deliver impact.
Experience utilizing process engineering to drive efficiencies in people/process/tooling in an operations environment.
Experience with network engineering, design, deployment or operations.
Network certifications (CCNA or JNCIA) or higher.
Systems development and deployment experience.
Experience with Linux.
Experience working with Wi-Fi networks.
