Job Summary
The Software Engineer will work on a Balanced Team and collaborate with the Product Manager and embedded developers to deliver projects and features to support future Operational Analytics Initiatives. The Software Engineer will build a portfolio of products and will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance & support of the product. ¿ Work hands on with the team and other stakeholders to deliver quality software products that meet our customer¿s requirements and needs. ¿ Help Partners understand our iterative development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product through careful and deliberate prioritization. Work with design resources (internal and/or external) to ensure timely delivery of designs and assets to the development team. ¿ The architecture involves Interface development using Django and the backend is SQL Server and Hadoop and API¿s to be created and managed so that external applications could communicate. ¿ The input data pull for the application will be from backend DB¿s, Hadoop Storage (HDFS), NAS etc. ¿ The visualization platform may be migrated from Qlik to Django (for two way interactive interface) ¿ The data transfers will be triggered automatically (timed or event based) and/or manually as well
