Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in tech marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, corporate affairs/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Preferred qualifications:

Experience in creating and leading high-impact meaningful integrated marketing campaigns (offline, online, activation, unconventional and innovative campaigns/activities beyond traditional media buys)
Experience organizing and moving large and complex programs forward, identifying clear paths for all parties, and maintaining timelines and goals
Leadership experience in managing multiple complex projects and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally
Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy, driving strategic alignment with stakeholders, and inspiring teams to achieve common goals
About the job
Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As the Google Play Regional Brand and Reputation Marketing Manager, your goal will be to build and maintain positive sentiment towards Google Play amongst key opinion formers (KOF) in the broader app ecosystem. You will be our subject matter expert in KOF marketing and protecting the Google Play brand and reputation within the industry. You will work cross-functionally with country marketers, central and global Google Brand and Reputation teams, government affairs, corporate communications, and more.

Responsibilities
Lead in refining the APAC Google Play brand and reputation strategy, identifying priority initiatives, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams
Uncover insights about key opinion formers (KOFs) and our ecosystem to inform our brand and reputation strategy and initiatives, and drive consistent measurement of initiatives across the region
Lead the rollout of scaled regional programs from conceptualization, strategy, planning to execution of initiatives, management of external agencies, localization of content, partnerships, and communications plans
Partner closely with cross-functional teams, in-country marketers, and global stakeholders to bring our APAC strategy to fruition
Internalize and bring to life the Google Play brand, voice, mission, and values in a way that is consistent with the broader Google brand voice and strategy
