Job Description : We are looking for Registered Psychologists who are passionate about providing person-centred, evidence-based assessments and intervention for clients across the lifespan.
You will have the opportunity to develop, extend and deepen your clinical expertise in a friendly, well-supported team and in an organisation that values your growth, passion and skills. While providing psychological practice you will be using CBT, ACT, DBT, person-centred and trauma-informed approaches through ongoing psychological counselling. ORS also offers a full range of neuropsychological assessments, including cognitive, educational, school readiness, memory, capacity, Autism and ADHD assessments. There will be the opportunity to receive training to develop your skills in this area and administer such assessments to applicable clients. Your role would also include shadowing and training of Provisional Psychologists to support their development in the internship programs.
There is substantial opportunity for career progression within this role, with the opportunity to become a Board-approved AHPRA supervisor, once eligible and if interested, or to progress into a management role to assist with running our Psychological Services division. ORS also offer ongoing professional development opportunities and can provide formal peer supervision to meet AHPRA’s requirements for maintaining registration.
Your clients will include people with various diagnoses and disability types, and you will work across several environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, hospitals, forensic settings, communities, and/or ORS offices. You will get to experience working within a Multidisciplinary Team alongside Behaviour Support Practitioners, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists, as well as other Registered, Clinical, Neuropsychology, Educational & Developmental and Forensic Psychologists.

3 years’ experience
Experience with Intellectual Disability or other complex diagnoses
A car and licence
A National Police Clearance, Working With Children or Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
