About Our Client
My client are a global financial services business based in the heart of Liverpool.
Job Description
Carrying out financial and data analysis and compiling reports for various business purposes
Monitoring and management of financial results
Balance sheet analysis and controls
Supporting analysis for statutory returns and/or reports and accounts
Internal and/or external audits, reports and reviews
Production of financial reporting MI and accompanying commentary
Development and maintenance of strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Communicating and liaising with business and finance colleagues to investigate results, develop opportunities, maintain alignment and share information
Gathering, validating and compiling quantitative and qualitative information and data, from multiple internal and/or external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
Analysing financial and business data and information using a variety of proven statistical and other analytical techniques to determine causality, significance, business impact or implications and developing advice or recommendations
Contributing to a wide variety of projects and initiatives potentially including internal reviews, development initiatives and corporate transactions Running and/or contributing to the development of financial models and analytical processes to meet business needs. Continuous monitoring of the external marketplace to feed into team processes and outputs
The Successful Applicant
They are looking for someone who has strong reporting skills, and ideally strong analysis skills as well. Someone coming from Financial Services or a large, complex business background would be ideally suited for this.
