Rigid Pipeline Engineer
At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for an Rigid Pipeline Engineer with previous experiene in dynamic analysis to join our team.
Job description
Undertake pipeline analytical calculations with tools such as Mathcad and Excel;
Undertake pipeline analysis using relevant software;
Responsible for following TechnipFMC processes, Industry standards and best practices to deliver complete and accurate documents;
Contribute to the development of team;
Applies a thorough knowledge of current principles and practices of engineering as related to the design and construction of offshore pipelines.
Applies knowledge and expertise acquired through progressive experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions.
Keeps informed of new methods and developments affecting the company and recommends new practices or changes in emphasis of programs.
Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments.
Perform all reasonable job tasks required by line manager.
Participates as a fully contributing member of a project team;
Must have the drive and initiative to independently communicate, gather information and make sound engineering decisions;
Manages technical design scope (full or partial) and ensure technical compliance and quality as well as on-time delivery;
Attend meetings with project teams and interface within and with other disciplines to provide engineering solutions;
You are meant for this job if
Experience with pipeline routing/spanning software, such as Fledermaus, SAGE;
Check isometrics, general arrangement, field layout, alignment sheets & approach drawings;
Must have good computer skills and be proficient on Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Mathcad;
Nice to have:
Experience using Abaqus FE software, including subroutines and scripts;
Programming in Python and/or Visual Basic or others;
