SALARY: Up to £27,000 dependent on experience with uncapped commission OTE Year 1 £35,000

ABOUT THE ROLE:

They are on the lookout for an experienced Sales Development Representative to support their ever successful Field Based Team.

The ideal Sales Development Representative will contact, qualify and open up opportunities for the wider sales team to close, you will be a ‘New Business Hunter’

The successful Sales Development Representative will be a driven self-starter with a tenacious and committed approach, capable of educating customers and scheduling warm appointments for the wider sales team.

You will be responsible for:

The successful Sales Development Representative will manage their time effectively to identify new business opportunities and speak with key decision makers through telephone, email and video call channels

Working alongside the marketing team to uncover incoming sales opportunities. A Sales Development Specialist will open up these incoming opportunities for the field sales team to close.

Maximising their CRM capabilities to build and leverage relationships, ultimately setting appointments for the field sales team.

The Sales Development Specialist will educate and challenge customer assumptions, sufficiently preparing the customer for the field sales team.

Work within a targeted environment with professionalism, providing reports and understanding measurement tools to track progress and results.
YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE / BE:

A minimum of 1 years experience in a cold calling / appointment setting role
Able to identify a prospect and create new lead opportunities
Excellent customer service skills – taking a proactive approach, being resourceful and detail oriented to engage, respond to and qualify potential sales leads.
Well organised and prepared to manage your own workload. This requires excellent administration and time management skills.
The Sales Development Representative will need to have prior understanding of the sales process and pipeline to be able to effectively prospect and qualify leads.
A team player who thrives on building effective relationships for the broader Field Based Team.
Occasional attendance of trade shows and team meetings
