Job Description : About the job:
The Red Hat Operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will be part of the global Sales Operations team, supporting the renewals operations in close collaboration with all of our global regions. You will use your creativity to gather, interpret, and use complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve validation processes and optimize results. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will also be responsible for doing a lot of renewal operations activities, including data analysis and data validation. You will also need to create reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Tableau. You’ll need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and be committed to contributing to Red Hat’s operational success.
What you will do:
Collaborate with cross-functional groups; understand various renewal processes, adopt best practices, and help the global team streamline wherever possible
Quickly produce ad hoc reports and analytics in an effective manner
Perform quick validation and data reconciliation-type activities to support renewal operations
Work on several reporting and data analysis and validation activities to provide insightful information
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree; equivalent degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience will also be considered
6+ years of industry experience in sales operations and very good knowledge of SFDC
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to understand and transform data to analyze and produce reports
Good analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with large data while maintaining high attention to detail
Rich experience building reports and dashboards in SFDC
Willingness to consistently work extended hours during periods of high demand, e.g., quarter or year end; this may include weekends
