Job Description : Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial, and HR business services to all its business areas.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Solution architects possess a high level of technical literacy, which helps the business to determine how a software solution fits into the organization’s current structure and assists in the development of specifications and requirements.
This job can be done remotely. Optional work from home is available for this role.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Architecture on Azure for SAP Infrastructure
Leverage extensive knowledge of industry practices, software solutions, and methodologies to make technical recommendations on complex problem resolution
Performing integration architecture and infrastructure design activities on Azure
Participate in the product roadmap and product strategy definition
Lead the resolution of key technical challenges both in the design phase and implementation phase of SAP ERP projects
leverage, improve and challenge ERP solution proposals to make it follow the industrial best practices and ensure the best fit for purpose for Hydro GBS end users
Design, communicate and deliver innovative end-to-end Information about new features in Azure for SAP Services
Define technical architecture: Analyze technical requirements, design and implement technical architecture on Azure
Understand and own cost management (Reservations,Usage,etc) for SAP Servers on Azure
Take ownership(approve, design and plan) for any changes done to Infrastructure for SAP on Azure and align it to be the most cost effective solution.
Work Experience
At least 5 years experience in SAP ERP architecture design
At least basic level understanding of project management technologies, phases, deliverables in order to be able to effectively participate in ERP projects (Prince 2 preferred)
Sound understanding of SAP running on Azure with an inclination to Azure knowledge
Must Have skills: SAP BASIS Administration, Azure cost management
Industry Experience
Experience in SAP greenfield and brownfield migration to HANA solutions
Experience in cloud hosting and operations design
Licensing/Certification
SAP Certification or equivalent experience (5+ years) in a related field
Functional Knowledge
good communicator, logical thinker, detail-driven
Technical Knowledge
SAP BASIS, Azure for SAP Services, HANA on Azure, SAP upgrades and migration, SAP Technical Architecture
