Good experience in Scala, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala and shell scripting.
Development of big data applications using Scala.
Proficiency with Hadoop ecosystem tools & technologies like Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, HBase, Phoenix, Spark
Experience in Java.
Should be able to write optimized Hadoop Jobs
Working experience in SQL
Hands on experience in backend programming particularly Scala is mandatory
Analytical and problem-solving skills and Implementation of these skills in Big Data domain
Understanding of data loading tools such as Flume, Sqoop
Good knowledge of database principles practices structures.
Good Knowledge in CI RA and tools like Jenkins.
Has done development or debugging on Linux/ Unix platforms.
Data Warehousing, Data Mart and Data Engineering experience is a plus
Design and develop ETL mappings and workflows.
