Summary
As a Product Security Test Engineer, you will assist in ensuring consistent security of the products, applications and services (including on-premise and cloud computing i.e. IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, etc.) Contribute for enhancing cloud security, mobile security, security of our enterprise products and data privacy. Along with the application security assessments, candidate is expected to perform regular security audits from design, process and technical / hands-on standpoint. Analyze security requirements, review the technical security measures necessary to support policies and prove compliance.
Role
You will act as ethical hacker and expected to run vulnerability assessment / Penetration tests and create assessment reports about the findings. While you will often be running pre-determined types of tests, you will also be innovating these tests depending upon the products and solutions from SAP portfolio, requiring creativity and imagination.
Proactively research latest trends and emerging technologies in security and recommend solution upgrades.
Review and scan codes to identify errors that could lead to security bugs.
Support documentation of processes, guidelines, and frameworks that enable developers to build secure codes
Collaborate across functional teams such as developers, security architects, risk management, etc. to implement security best practices and remediate vulnerabilities
Role Requirement
Bachelor’s degree or higher, technical discipline preferred
3+ years of working experience in Produc Security,
Graduate in Computer Science, Software engineering or equivalent
Experienced in application security testing (source code review and application penetration tests)
Working knowledge of security principles, techniques and technologies
ISO27034 (Nice to have)
Good understanding of network protocols, design and operations.
Strong analytical skills and efficient problem solving.
Understanding of Data Privacy protection and assessment skillsets.
Good English communication skills (written and oral)
Quick Learner, passionate, motivated and self-managed.
Application development background and security knowledge – example of languages include C, C#, C++, Java, J2EE
Vulnerability and threat management experience
Experience with various security tools and products (SAST AND DAST Eg-Fortify, Check marx , App Scan Burp Suite, etc…)
Good understanding of the components of a secure DLC/SDLC
Vulnerability analysis and Application reversing skills
Understanding of GDPR regulations.
Nice to have: CISSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP or other information security certifications
