We run a unique flavour of agile and that’s practical.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding and running the current Android apps and improving the underlying platformDevelop superlative apps to complement our current rich web platformOwning and contributing to our overall mobile strategy across the digital landscapeInnovation to be on the forefront in every aspect of design and development and constructively challenge and get challenged in architectural and design decisionsThink outside the box to address current problems and put a proactive hat on, to avoid them in the futureDeep knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android platform SDKs and common libraries such as dependency injection and networkingStrong understanding of web services and API-backed mobile app developmentKnow what OAuth is and how to use it securelyComfortable with popular Android application architecture approachesExperience within the full app development lifecycleDemonstrable skill in building scalable, responsive UIExperienced with modern team development workflow, including git, code reviews and continuous integrationExperience working in an agile environmentExperience with automated testing (unit tests, functional tests, acceptance tests)Relevant tertiary educationIn depth experience in creating large scale applicationsPassionate about User ExperienceGreat communicator – demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers and influence your peers.Capabilities & ExperienceExperience with “Clean” ArchitectureExperience working with payment gateways/APIsActive in the developer community (whether online or in person) and passionate about bringing and demonstrating new ideas to the team.Experience in designing secure systems and strong information security fundamentals would be highly regardedMobile Banking App experience preferred.Wellbeing & BenefitsAs a company that values wellbeing, we offer a range of great benefits to support you financially, professionally and personally.
