Job Description : Roles and Responsibilities
Job Brief
As an Architect, you would plan and design the technology architecture using best practices.
Understand company needs and define system/technology specifications.
Design the Deployment Architecture and Microservices to achieve performance, fault tolerance, redundancy and scalability.
Ensure good system deliverables (i.e. conduct code review, set coding standards, etc).
Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.
You will:
Provide design and architecture guidance to team members and Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions.
Ensure the implementation of architecture and infrastructure.
Communicate system requirements to engineering teams.
Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
Be responsible for understanding and implementing security and data protection best practices.
Bring in a passion for technology and hunger to learn
You have:
10+ years of relevant experience and at least 4+ years of experience in working in cloud(AWS/Azure) technologies.
Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Lead Engineer.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Concepts, Programming and Methodology.
Good understanding of the principles of Microservices Design as well as Microservices patterns and anti-patterns.
Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. Ruby, Python and Javascript).
Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. UNIX, Windows) and databases (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL).
Experience in cloud and container technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
A Master’s degree or bachelors from a top tier institution.
Experience of working in a Startup.
Excellent problem solving, relationship management, negotiation & conflict management, analysis skills, able to work in a team and individually.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and define complex processes.
