The Global Partner Network is an organization within the Global Services Group responsible for managing outsourced third-party relationships that support our cardmember acquisition, servicing and fulfillment activities.
Our team is searching for Senior Business Analysts who will be responsible for driving business transformation projects and ongoing system change requests to improve the economics and efficiency of GPN managed processes, and will be working on opportunities that deliver an enhanced customer experience. The team will also support new product launches, set up of new third-party sites, testing, and learning of new capabilities within the Global Partner Network.

Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and translate business requirements into corresponding system changes, represented through system design documentation and process flows for partner systems, social media, digital servicing channels, etc.
Document project changes in accordance with the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), obtain/maintain associated project approvals and track project time to maintain effective resource planning.
Coordinate System and User-Acceptance testing to review and resolve defects prior to implementation.
Research and troubleshoot production defects to identify and resolve production issues.
Provide process subject-matter-expertise and business consultation to identify and deliver system solutions to resolve complex business problems.
Develop test plans, testing resource requirements and overall scheduling of testing activity.
Execute test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications.
Perform risk governance controls analysis and assesses performance compliance.
Provide first and second-level technical support to security, continuity or other risk systems and tools.
Work with team members and other stakeholders (as appropriate) to ensure alignment, understanding and ongoing communication regarding information security, compliance and IT risk management initiatives.
Consult on controls, processes, and procedures as appropriate.
Assist in facilitating meetings to gather and document products/services or generic process changes.
Support analysis of underlying trends and action plans associated with IT risk.
Play an integral role in building and enhancing the Partner Infrastructure required to support Inbound and Outbound programs, in terms of robustness, scalability, availability and efficiency.
Work with Technical and Business resources to ensure timely implementations to support the business‘ strategic plans.
Monitor (and address) third party data connectivity in terms of quality and adherence to Amex standards.
Support remediation as subject matter expert to analyze and develop solutions for CAP’s and other risk events.
Strong technical aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail.
Comprehensive understanding of LAN/WAN networks, routing protocols, VLANs, firewalls, and TCP/IP architecture.
Experience with end-to-end voice servicing, VoIP technologies for example codex uses, SIP and H.323, and telecom optimization.
Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and accurately. In particular network problem determination and knowledge in using trace tools. Experience in a testing/quality assurance discipline with proven ability in writing test cases, running functional, automated, or performance tests, and managing defects Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance to information security or other relevant policies, standards and procedures.
Responsible for delivering, tracking, monitoring and reporting of information security, service continuity or other risk project tasks.
Ability to facilitate and coordinate working through an established process for risk management.
Provide technical support on security, continuity or other risk systems and tools.
Execution of specific functional processes such as security monitoring, event and incident management, vulnerability scanning and remediation, electronic discovery and security systems management.
Ability to communicate network specific requirements for Service Requests.
Flexible schedule for supporting multiple Global partners with placements throughout all Amex regions, including participation in a rotating 24×7 on call rotation.
Previous American Express Technologies experiences a plus.
Multilingual skills a plus.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
Potential travel required: 0-10%
