The Senior Data Architect enables companies to re-invent their business by providing design, build, manage and modernise services.
Key Stakeholder Relationships
External – Key customers; strategic technology partners (Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Google); strategic consulting partners (KPMG, EY).
Internal – Global Practice Leader; Country President; Chief Technology Officer; Customer Unit (CU) Partners and teams; Country Practice Leaders (Advisory & Implementation, Core Enterprise and zCloud / Apps, Data & AI / Digital Workplace Services / Security & Resiliency, Network & Edge); Marketing & Communications; Alliances Leader.
Key Accountabilities
As a recognised expert, influences Global Practice strategy and represents global offerings and capability among country industry associations, technical analysts, and high-profile customers
Supports demand generation and growth in-country by providing deep technical expertise, and support in key deals and other customer interactions
Monitors service portfolio success in-country and adapts service capabilities to local needs in response to identified opportunities, issues, and gaps
Supports the Country President in consistent deployment of service capabilities / offerings in-country (with customisation where needed)
Supports the Country President and Customer Unit (CUs) teams in deployment of automation and continuous improvement
Supports the Country President and CUs in deploying resources in-country and managing country resource envelop for profitability
Responsible for defining the skills roadmap, the implementation of the skill plan (upskilling and reskilling) and talent development for our people; ensures sales and delivery intellectual property is in place.
Defining the end-to-end hybrid cloud strategy (advise, build, move, manage) offerings, and go-to-market plan
Leading global and local group of Data & AI Solutions practice members to support the execution of your plans
Driving Data & AI Solutions awareness activities across Kyndryl organizations, and ensuring appropriate sales & delivery materials /resources are in place participating to our strategic Data & AI Solutions opportunities
Leveraging Kyndryl’s marketing & communication team to promote the Service Now offerings
Delivers compelling presentations, product demos, solutions, and discussions to drive adoption of cloud technologies and services.

Qualifications/Requirements
Consulting and Solution Design across project-based work, which sees the architecting, designing, developing, and implementing new data platforms and analytics. Strong customer facing experience
Experience in the creation, deployment, support, and management of complex AI, IoT, ML and Data solutions.
Azure – Microsoft frameworks and database platforms (Cloud-based analytics)
Experience in the installation and management of SQL Server Reporting and Integration Services.
Data Science, Virtualisation & Reporting: Power BI | Tableu | Confluence | Visual Studio
Azure Data services | Azure Data Factory | Azure Data Warehousing | Azure Data Bricks | Azure SQL | Big Data | Data Lakes | Azure Search | App Insights

Automation of data migration and stored procedure coding to Azure SQL, testing and verification; using PowerShell and Azure CLI – Migration of on-prem services into Azure cloud platform (PaaS)
Other technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Scala, Impala, R & Python
SSIS | SSRS | SSAS
Managing Azure resources – Azure App Services, Azure Virtual Machines which host Active-Directory Services, Third-party Application Services, SharePoint, SQL Server Services (recent versions), Azure Blob Storage, Azure Network, Azure Monitoring – desirable
