Job Description : BE / BTech in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field
Proven work experience as a QA tester or similar role
Significant work history showing aptitude for QA methodology
Working knowledge on Devices and Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Experience and familiarity with test management software
Strong critical thinking skills, an analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude
Job summary
Deliver when SOPs may not be well defined but the standard test methods or processes are clearly defined.
Requires the ability to conceptually understand the flow of work and have knowledge of guidelines and procedures governing work activities.
Efficiently uses appropriate software, tools and technology. Spots training needs, mentors new DA hires, supports and unblocks them.
Consistently execute test cases and analyze results in a timely manner.
Generate logs to document testing phases and defects. Effectively report bugs and errors to development teams
Provides floor support for any queries raised in their respective area and unblocks the DAs. Responsible for the quality of the components/features owned.
Comes up with initiatives that helps the project key metrics like productivity, defect leakage and quality in test areas owned. Requires detailed understanding of the components or features of the product owned. Drives changes with data and contributes to the overall success of the team/project.
