Senior Engineer – Azure Cloud – Job Description.
Summary of the role
We are looking for a cloud architect, specialising in Azure Cloud ops. The candidate must have experience with migrating on prem infrastructure to cloud. This would be a senior and largely independent position as an individual contributor. You would have a key stake in ensuring the efficient maintenance of the backend infrastructure supporting our mobile users.
In this role you’ll / Your main responsibilities
Build migration solution from on-prem to Microsoft Azure cloud.
Contribute to architecture and infrastructure designs
Learn and apply new Microsoft Azure cloud technologies
Own and manage Azure cloud infrastructure.
Knowledge on Java/JEE architecture design, security, performance is a key requirement
Knowledge of at least one of Python/Perl/Shell scripting languages is required
Build your career as a Cloud expert in Microsoft Azure technologies with possibility to gain relevant Microsoft Azure certifications
About the ideal candidate
Education
Bachelor Degree or Higher in IT, Computer Science/ Engineer
Relevant work experience
Excellent hands on skills as an Azure Cloud Ops EngineerKnowledge on Java/JEE architecture design, coding, security, performanceKnowledge of at least one of Python/Perl/Shell scripting languages is requiredA minimum of 6 years of relevant experience working on Java/Cloud based applications
