The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant is a new role within the CFO Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting of BPPTL, the role holder is responsible for senior level support on all financial reporting activities across the Fund and its supporting organisations (excluding Private Markets), and supporting the delivery of those activities.

Excellent time management and organisational skills are required to meet milestone deadlines to ensure timely sign-off of any proposals ahead of Board and Committee meetingsEnsuring accurate analysis and insightful concise reporting as requiredMaintaining strong, positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholdersDelivering high quality work to tight deadlines
Essential Education:
The job holder will ideally be a member of the ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA (or similar body) or near qualified
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
Specific demonstrable experience/ skills/ behaviours/ qualifications (vocational, Degree/Masters/Doctorate, professional) expected for the role.
Significant accounting and finance experienceExperience in Finance and Accounting with strong core technical accounting abilityExcellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent analytical skillsAdvanced/experienced Excel userA dynamic self-starter, with the ability to think strategically and to work on their own initiative in order to anticipate evolving needs and to confidently challenge the status quo.Team player, with willingness to be flexible and adaptable in order to meet deadlinesAbility to establish, maintain and document clear and robust processesBP’s values, particularly the courage to speak up and One Team.
