Consulting learning is looking for a Senior Learning Deployment specialist to join our team. We pride ourselves on being connected to the pulse of our consulting business which allows us to create meaningful learning experiences at the right time for our learners. This role sits at the heart of the team as you coach our coordinators whilst liaising with people in the business to understand their needs before advising, designing, and deploying learning initiatives. You will also work closely with management in the team who are there to support you in your thinking. Consulting is agile in nature and whilst you’ll have set portfolios to look after, the role can be as dynamic as you’d like to make it.

As Senior Learning Deployment specialist, you will be responsible for the deployment of multiple courses within one or more curriculums. You’ll create Learning course deployment plans and budgets and manage the end-to-end execution. You’ll source facilitators for Learning courses and ensure they are adequately prepared for course delivery. You’ll provide oversight of Learning administration activities and report on course feedback.

Your key responsibilities
The core purpose of this role is about ensuring multiple stakeholders are set up as well as they can be for a positive learning experience. As we navigate this new Hybrid working world, you will need to be discerning about where to prioritise virtual vs face-to-face learning by considering costs as well as what will have the best impact for the type of content and audience in question. Relationship management is core to your role not only from a learning needs understanding perspective but also for buy-in and support from leadership as well as facilitators who agree to do assist us in addition to their client facing role. You will need to be organised in getting the basics of course deployment sorted so that you are able to act with agility and pace when responding to in the moment high priority learning needs. You will need to have a good handle of curriculum budgets by filling in a monthly forecasting tracker for review by our finance lead. With restrictions easing, there will be some occasions where you’ll need to travel to learning venues as well as regional offices like Birmingham and London to meet for team events. Role can be based in either Birmingham or London.
LEARNING DEPLOYMENT
Create Learning course deployment plans aligned to Learning Program planning and budgets, leads on the creation of the annual course / programme schedule with guidance from Manager and input support from junior Learning Deployment Specialist
Understands course content and makes recommendations on the most efficient and innovative ways to deploy
Work alongside instructional design team to implement new and/or updated learning content, support in identifying routes to market and testing new content with stakeholders
Oversees the end-to-end execution of Learning course deployment plans and budgets, including conference and event management, providing oversight of Learning deployment activities performed by the project team
Oversees initial set up of courses and classes in SuccessFactors or other platforms e.g. CVENT and the initiation and ongoing participant nomination process
Ensure all participants within the population complete their mandatory training requirements in line with SL policy requirements
Source facilitators for Learning courses and manage the facilitator pool including guest speakers/hosts where appropriate
Prepare facilitators for delivery of Learning courses (content)
Manage vendors relating to Learning deployment and logistics and any technology used to enhance learning experience e.g. app and social media management
Learning on-site support (as required)
Support the hosting and production of online modules, webcasts and virtual learning projects. Advise on best practice, for example interactivity during virtual classroom sessions
Curation of learning from current approved EY learning sources
vILT producer role where vILT team can’t support
Ideas generation and rollout of networking elements within virtual learning programmes, including leading the activity e.g, quizzes
Support with contracting with 3rd party suppliers and key contact for some suppliers
MEASURE LEARNING
Produce key insights from Learning Program feedback and report these to the Learning Program Manager
LEARNING FACILITATION
Facilitate Cross-SL Learning Programs as required Face-to-Face or online
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Manage the budget, accruals, forecasts and actual costs of courses you are responsible for, supporting all Finance related activities as set out in the Learning Deployment model
Support with monthly/annual finance activities/requests from Operations team.
TEAM
Support the Talent Development function by undertaking other operational activities and projects which deliver enhanced value to stakeholders
Support the induction of new team members
STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS
Coaches and partners with the Junior Learning Deployment Specialists to increase their knowledge, skills and competence in role
Manage the relationship with business areas (such as UKI UK, UKI ROI, UKFS, ROI FS and Channel Islands) in relation to training dates and nominations
Management of learning communications and newsletters, including the SharePoint for the courses you are responsible for
Provides recommendations and solutions to meet business needs. Maintains and manages strong relationships with key stakeholders relevant to your courses, being the first point of contact for your course within the business. The relationships may include service line resourcing teams, Course Managers, Facilitators, Learning Champions, Quality and Efficiency networks, Q&RM/PPD, Subject Matter Experts, External training providers

To qualify for the role, you must have
Experience of working in professional services or corporate environment
Experience of working in Learning preferred
