I am working with a company who are taking APIs to the next level, they are the premier, open-source API platform.
Due to huge growth, they are currently recruiting for a Senior Product Manager to join them on a permanent basis
If successful, you will set a vision and a plan for building out the product analytics function Product.
Senior Product Manager Specification:
You will set a vision and a plan for building out the product analytics function.
You will own specific data products from end to end: contracts, rollout, governance, training, and support for stakeholders
Add telemetry, instrumentation, and analytics tools as needed to track user events and engagement
Promote a data mindset and metric-driven culture.
Provide Sales and Customer Success with usage-based metrics and intelligence to focus efforts on conversion, customer value and upselling.
Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key product metrics and KPIs to understand trends and assess product execution.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions
Build onboarding and help guides/walk-thrus for web applications through collaboration with UX and product teams
Act as an advocate, educator, and communicator around product experience and analytics tools
At least 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Science in a B2B SaaS tech company, where your primary function was to inform and empower Product teams
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, both for internal and external stakeholders and senior leaders.
Advanced SQL skills and working knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
Experience with product analytics and in-app engagement tools (Heap, Userpilot, Segment, Pendo, FullStory, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
Experience working across multiple disciplines, including product, engineering, design and marketing to deliver a common goal Previous experience building out experiments and experiences through WYSIWYG editors in tools like Walkme, Pendo, etc
Have a deep understanding of Product Management frameworks and how product usage data can play into decision making at various stages of product/feature development, as well as into road mapping, prioritization, and OKR setting processes
Have a passion for data storytelling via decks and dashboards and a proven ability to efficiently relay your insights to non-technical audiences and senior leadership
Experience with Productboard is a plus
Experience working for open-source providers is a plus
