This role reports to the Head of Everyday Banking.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME AT 86 400

You will work closely with the Head of Everyday Banking to define and execute the Spend product strategy, end to end customer lifecycle, pricing and balance sheet management.

Key accountabilities are:
Develop and execute the end-to-end product strategy for 86 400’s Spend product, involving product research to understand competitor activity, strategies and emerging market trend locally and globally
Working closely with Growth, Digital, Contact Centre, Risk/Compliance and Banking Operations to drive and continually improve the end-to-end customer journey including acquisition, onboarding, usage, maintenance, retention, complaints and closure
Management of the P&L for Spend accounts
Key SME for the Spend product across the 86 400 business including answering questions in relation to products and processes, helping to resolve customer issues, and briefing the team on upcoming changes and how to respond
Working with IT, the broader business and vendors to deliver product and feature enhancements
Continuous market scanning and benchmarking keeping across key industry and customer trends to ensure innovation remains a core tenant of the 86 400 Spend product proposition
Recommending pricing, promotional and feature changes in response to market movements and customer trends
Work with internal teams and Vendors (DA and Cuscal) to resolve issues relating to Spend accounts or payments
Manage regular customer comms with Marketing, including delivery of emails and SMSs, tracking results and suggesting areas of improvement
Management of the end to end risk and compliance environment applying any new regulatory or compliance requirements and continually monitoring the effectiveness of current controls to ensure 86 400 continues to comply with relevant regulatory and legal frameworks
Management of the design and distribution obligations for the Spend product
Prepare regular and adhoc reporting on Spend customers including acquisition, funding, utilisation, risk, and closure to better understand customer behaviour or operational issues and provide recommendations to help shape the future of the business
Determine and drive roadmap for out of app insights that can be delivered to customers to help them get momentum with their money
