We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the team working on Embedded Applications running on EXFO’s equipment’s. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in .NET technology stack & C# development, with a focus on front-end & back-end development and very strong skills in multi-layer architecture.
What you will do
Develop well designed, efficient, testable components/applications by coding with best software development principles & practices.
Create WinForms/Web/Report user interfaces by using standard practices.
Integrate and develop various back-end data source services, APIs & components.
Maintaining, expanding, and scaling existing products.
Gather and refine requirements based on technical & product needs.
Create and maintain software documentation, wiki knowledge base.
Stay connected with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into innovation forum, R&D initiatives & new products front-end activities.

Follow Agile Scrum practices and participate in all Scrum events.

Maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with industry leading technologies.
What we’re looking for
Technical skills
Proven working experience in .NET, C#.
Excellent programming skills and in-depth knowledge of WinForms, Multi Threading, .NET Remoting, WCF & Windows Services.
Solid understanding of OOPs, OOAD & SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, Dependency Injection.
Hands-on experience with NUnit & Unit Testing.
Familiarity with at least one of the following web development technology: HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET, JavaScript, NodeJs, AngularJs, Bootstrap, JQuery, REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with Remote Debugging and other debugging tools and techniques.
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks within the constraints of timeline, with minimum supervision & take full ownership.
Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced development environment, learn rapidly.
Preferred Requirements
Working experience of C++, COM
Familiarity with COM, IPC, Sockets, Drivers.
Familiarity with Embedded system, Devices.
Familiarity with networking domain.
Required aptitudes
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks within the constraints of timeline, with minimum supervision & take full ownership.

Pertinent experience: 5-8 years
