Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer will be directly responsible for the organization, development, and deployment of the Nao Medical application suite. The ideal candidate for this role should be well demonstrated in leading software engineering teams. They should also be comfortable working with web technologies, taking designs from the design team, leading a team of engineers to develop them, and deploy them. They should also be comfortable working on a multidisciplinary and diverse team, in a fast-paced, highly-rewarding environment. They should also be able to research, optimize and advance existing code. They should also remain up to date with new web development technologies like, Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure, and work with analytics teams. They should also work closely with the marketing team to implement SEO, backlinks, and other SEO strategies.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience building and scaling APIs and Web Applications
5+ years of experience leading a team of software engineers, assigning tasks, making time estimates, upholding software development best practices
Experience building or maintaining iOS and Android applications
Strong experience designing both SQL and No-SQL style databases
Ability to build out and manage a team and be reliable and accountable in an agile environment.Experience front end coding HTML/CSS, Javascript, and AngularJS (incl. third party lib/frameworks)
Experience back end coding JavaExperience working with third party APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, GoogleMaps)Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)Working with Source Control (Git)Ability to write clean, readable code and adhere to coding standards.Good communication skills, follows directions and adhere to timelines and project plans
