Job Description : In this role you’ll
Need to work closely with the development manager, tech leads and product owner to develop the best technical design.
Need to have hands-on experience in software design and development. You should have the ability to have technical discussions with stakeholders about the proposed design & participate in the full development life cycle.
Need to be smart & flexible thinker who can understand the business of our customers as well as produce the code that powers our products. You should be interested to work in a highly collaborative environment with a team drawn from around the world.
Your main responsibilities
Application (batch, daemons) / service (REST, WS) development using
Python (primary), Java (secondary)
NoSQL and relational DBs
Agile – Scrum and Safe
Contribute to application high-level design
Contribute to functional product evolution
Build cloud based service oriented backend application.
Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
Able to work on technical solution for given requirements, ability to propose different approach for given problem and convince team or having meaningful discussion with all shareholders to finalize the solution.
About the ideal candidate
Minimum 4 years’ of hands-on experience in
Python
Java (Secondary)
Hands on skills on debugging Python and Java
Knowledge of good development practices.
Exposure to build and load processes
Able to learn and adapt new technology and processes
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience.
4+ years’ experience as a Software developer.
Experience with Python (preferred) or similar language on building server side application
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments
Familiar with Object Oriented Design, Design Pattern and Test Driven Development
Familiar with REST/Json WebServices
Basic Knowledge of SQL (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) NoSQL (Couch base, MongoDB)
Soft Skill :
