Description
Key responsibilities
Sustainability and ESG research and analysis across sectors
Understand and analyze company policies, processes and commitments, and country regulations and policies towards ESG
Collection and analysis of ESG data from corporate disclosures
Understanding of sustainability/ESG reporting and reporting standards
Prepare client-ready presentations that are well-structured, logical and clear to understand
Work with appropriate supervision and guidance from Team Lead/ Assistant Manager/ Manager
Work collaboratively with onshore KPMG teams in the development and delivery of presentations and key findings
Guide Senior Analysts (SA) and Business Associates (BA) across each stage of projects – from communicating client requirements, scoping and work allocation, to continuous supervision and review across secondary research, data analysis and discussions, storyboarding, and preparing deliverables
Articulate findings through visually appealing / appropriate frameworks and in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct business English (both written and verbal)
Ensure effective presentation of client deliverables – prepare client ready presentations that are well structured, logical and clear to understand
Independently handle multiple projects, with minimal supervision from Manager/Assistant Manager
Upskill your team members to add stronger value by providing training and coaching on different projects / activities and reviewing the work performed by the team
Showcase a greater degree of flexibility, steer well through complexity/ambiguity and cater to everchanging requirements from the Leadership

Ability to assess technical information to distill key strategic insights and convey these succinctly, clearly and confidently, verbally and in written form

Prior experience
Sustained research exposure (a minimum of 4 years continuously) on sustainability and ESG – the candidate must have 4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role in a leading consulting firm (e.g. international consulting firm, Big 4, leading research house, and specialist sustainability, climate change and ESG research firms)
Experience working with international clients
Commercial experience, detailed knowledge and technical skills with sustainability and ESG are highly desirable
Qualification
Bachelors or Masters in environmental management, climate science, sustainability, public policy desirable
