Your role
Are you passionate about delivering building robust and scalable Java applications on cloud? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate? We’re looking for someone like that to help us:
– design and implement software aligned to business and IT requirements, transferring business problems into technical solutions as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC) for Treasury Risk applications
– develop common test automation solution cross application
– test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
– guide and manage implementation teams to successful delivery
– make sure that produced code is secure, stable, operational and meets high quality requirements before handover
– collaborate with other global IT, Business and Operational teams
Your team
You’ll be working in the Treasury Risk Control IT team in Pune. We as a team are responsible for an ETL and reporting system which is used to ensure the Bank’s compliance to Swiss and US regulatory requirements.
Your expertise
You have:
– a degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field of study
– long-standing experience designing and building complex java applications on cloud (AWS/Azure)
– sound knowledge of technologies such as – Java , Spring boot, Rest API , Oracle DBs
– Experience in building Micro-services architecture in scalable manner
– experience with Azure services – Storage , compute, Deployment etc..
– strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
– Basic knowledge of/ Familiarity with Quantitative Risk Management tool is preferred

You are:
– familiar with Agile methodology, Scaled Agile Framework and Scrum/Kanban delivery approaches
– experienced with logic algorithms, design patterns, optimizations and other development approaches curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a team
– a self-sufficient, quick learner, who can work well both independently as well as in a team
– an excellent communicator, strong written and verbal communication skills in English
– fluent in English

– Robotic / Cucumber & Gherkin

– Knowledge of risk domains
