Job Description : SRE core responsibility is to develop highly reliable, scalable & robust cloud ecosystem. & also to minimize long-term toil like repetitive and reactive work through automation and enhanced efficiency while reducing the cost of failure & prepare Continuous QoS Improvement Plan.
SRE Enables the right Balance between velocity & stability by combining software engineering & IT Operational Skills.
about you
Should be responsible to automate and streamline operations and processes.

Engage, influence, and evangelize SRE practices with development, operational and product groups to align technology service/solution delivery.

Drive quality accountability within the organization with well-defined processes, metrics, and goals for process quality. This includes leading effective post-mortems and ensuring actions are followed-up.

Implement metrics driven processes to ensure service quality targets are met.

Introduce the team with all the new tools and technologies so that operations activities can be optimized

Must be able to define and report “progress” on strategic initiates and project level tasks to all stakeholders including senior executives, clients and use effective communication approaches with each constituency.

Identify inter-dependencies between the various partner groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated and communicated.

Ability to manage deadlines and meet financial, capacity and personnel constraints while successfully completing your projects on time.

Improvising the identified gaps in Change and Release Management responsibility.

Closely collaborate with technology and product leadership, QA, DevOps to gather product requirements and translate to technical requirements to support the engineering team using Jira

Take the lead to the train all the concerned team members on Devops methodogies and latest tools

Introduce the team with all the new tools and technologies so that operations activities can be optimized

Infrastructure Automation (Terraform)

Gitlab Automation through CI/CD . Jenkins , Gitlab

Good Understanding of Load Balancers like BIGIP, HAProxy, ELB, NGINX, Traefik.

Kubernetes (Infra & Application Deployment)

Ansible, terraform

Knowledge on cloud & Cloud native Application

12 Factor Approach & Microservices architecture

Prometheus, ELK, APM

Linux / Windows Administration

Problem solving and investigation capabilities

Ability to work with aggressive schedules

Ability to identify problems and work to resolution as required.

Ability to engage and partner with customer and internal staff as required.

Strong ability to work independently to support the system activities for the customer
