Job Description : Overview:

Quest is looking for an experienced Software Developer. You will be part of Quest’s growing Data Protection group and work to enhance the products in its portfolio. Your duties will include designing and developing features primarily in the area of data backup and recovery. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of what works well for the Quest SaaS platform and be a champion for ensuring cross platform components are designed and implemented with great customer experience in mind. You will work in a fast-paced environment with an experienced and highly technical team of Quest engineers to solve a wide range of unique and fascinating problems.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop key features for Quest’s data recovery and backup productsCreate high quality code with excellent performance characteristics
Be a champion for Quest’s data protection product line
Be an advocate for getting solid designs and implementations incorporated into the product
Develop, support, and provide initial trouble shooting for internal and field issues
Qualifications:
Strong Angular TypeScript, JavaScript programming skillThorough understanding of the REST and Web API, JSON, XML
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Service-Oriented Architecture, principles of SOLID
Expert with Microsoft Visual Studio
Expert with at least one Windows scripting language (VBScript, Jscript, etc.)Worked on multiple products through the full product life cycle from product concept to product releaseDemonstrated track record of being a key contributor on successful productsExcellent initiative and motivation
Ability to work independently and drive problems to a solution with minimum supervision
Minimum of 5 years Windows software development experienceBS in CS, EE or related field, MS preferred
